Target Audience

This program is intended to update practicing internists, family medicine physicians, primary care physicians, cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, vascular surgeons, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, residents and fellows on current topics in cardiovascular disease.

Learning Objectives

After participating in the activity, participants will be able to:
• Recognize multiple lipid guideline updates and employ framework for incorporating guidelines into clinical practice
• Assess the data and evaluation required to develop an optimal individualized treatment plan (ITP) for patients win cardiac rehabilitation
• Identify the indications for novel percutaneous therapies for mitral valve disease 
• Describe clinical and economic data supporting CT-FFR for the diagnostic evaluation of coronary artery disease
• Define state-of-the-art surgical therapies for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, pericardial disease, pulmonary hypertension and advanced heart failure
• Discuss new approaches in renal denervation for hypertension and other indications
