Learning Objectives

After attending this program, participants will be able to:

  • Discuss the screening guidelines and methods for colon, breast, prostate and lung cancers
  • Identify and clarify their own needs to help avoid burnout and maintain a strong inner core of strength, flexibility and sense of personal mission
  • Appropriately screen patients for cardiovascular disease based on their risk factors
  • Discuss how the epigenome changes in response to environmental factors and how those changes can alter a patient’s risk factors for various diseases

Including review of the supplementary material and completion of the post-test, this activity is expected to take 2.5 hours to complete.
